Why do black people have white palms, is it because human ancestors were white?

Actually its kinda mixed
So it starte doff mixed most likely already evolved to be dark in the jungle
A guess but since chimps our closest relatives have mixed skin and they stayed in teh jungle it was probably teh same so it probably got a bit darker to make africans but not by much then lighter in the cold weather

Another reason they were likely mixed is blacks are mixed they still have white on feet and palms and we were able to change and get lighter

that part isnt as good of a guess because im not sure how it works with tanned ppl , there's no tanned chimps

It is just meant to be that way , it will to do with pigment I think .My palms are pink , and the rest of my body isn't .

i am east asian and my friend who is south east asian has lighter palm than me. i think the darker you are the whiter your palm, its like opposite

If you used common sense once in awhile, youd realize palms have a different texture from the back of our hands. Theres more moisture in the palms (sweat). Hence why theyre lighter.
