Is the white kimono ritual real?

Its been bothering me for awhile now and im just curious, you first lie and bed and cross your arms and chant a japanese incantation and you will see this japanese yurei ghost in your dreams. On reddit a man said he was haunted for months because of this. Is this real? It says its from japanese satanic book

It's not from a Japanese Satanic book.

The dominant religions in Japan are Shintoism and Buddhism, and Satan doesn't show up in either.  While everyone knows who Satan is, he (or she, if you've met my ex) is a figure exclusively from the Big Three religions.  The devil as you know him isn't part of other religious beliefs.  So there goes the idea of Japanese Satanism.

And no, it's not true.  Yes I know some guy from some website or social media app said it happened to him, but there is always a guy / girl somewhere online who swears it really truly happened to them.  You don't have to look very hard to find gullible people on the internet, in fact you can find them right here.
