I have been taking adhd medicine since I was young however now I just recently started on adderall xr which I haven’t taken before I got switched from 30mg to 20 because I felt like I couldn’t breathe on the 30 and now the 20 is doing the same thing like I have to take heavy breath and yawn all day and chest pains and my resting heart rate was 125 but blood pressure was normal however before I was on Xanax for panic attack but now I take it for both and to help me sleep at night and bc it makes me be able to breathe and come down off the Adderall, is this bad? Is this a sign the Adderall is bad for my heart however I can’t do my work without it

It sounds as if Adderall xr is not the right medication for you. Stimulants can cause heightened anxiety and your symptoms sounds like they're anxiety based and not an issue with your heart. It's really not good to be taking that much Xanax regularly so you really need to speak to your prescribing doctor about switching to instant release Adderall or another ir stimulant as you shouldn't be taking a benzodiazepine to 'come down' off the stimulant, it's obviously lasting too long and keeping you awake.
