"mount c C:\dos" would only work if that directory exists. You keep saying you made a "C" folder, which sounds like you made the directory "C:\C". That would not work with the command you're using. You need to make a folder/directory named "dos".

    1. Open your Start Menu

    2. Right-click Command Prompt and select "Run as Administrator."

    3. Enter "mkdir C:\dos"

    4. Close Command Prompt

    5. Copy/move your DOS programs to C:\dos

    6. Open DOSBox

    7. Enter "mount c C:\dos"

    8. Enter "C:" to switch drives.
