Write an exponential function represented by the inputs.?
(0,-2), (1,-8), (2,-16), (3,-32)

I agree with the first response regarding the first point (0, -2). For a function to be exponential, the sequence of points needs a constant ratio...in this case the ratio is 2 except for the first point. If we ignore the first point we need y=ab^x where a is the point when x = 0 and b is the ratio. So,
y = -4(2^x)

I see that the "y"s are all powers of 2. So if we change the points to that we may have an easier look as to what the function is:
(0, -2), (1, -8), (2, -16), (3, -32)
(0, -2¹), (1, -2³), (2, -2⁴), (3, -2⁵)
Based on this, if we ignore the first point we see the exponent is always (x + 2) so the function could be:
y = -2^(x + 2)
But the first point doesn't fit that pattern. It would have to be (0, -4) in order for it to fit.
Are these points correct?
