Do you strongly support a $15 per hour wage for CONGRESS?
It was good enough for President Trump (in fact he took NO salary at all), and perhaps if they VOLUNTEERED, they would be more willing to entertain TERM LIMITS
Just a wild thought.

Good idea!
Even better, let's lock them down for a few months without any pay! Like the rest of us.

Do you want to have to chose among minimum-wage workers to make our laws? Don't we have enough incompetents in congress already? Jewish space lasers? Really?

I think if they were sincere about "serving" they should do it for a limited time free with payment for expenses and then go home and have someone else serve. If we're paying them what they're worth, give them less the $15 per hour that they and every fast food worker on earth is NOT worth.

Fact . minimum wage Texas 1971 $1.40 . Gas $.20
House 30K . 2020 330K
There was a time in the sixties if both worked minimum wage was house buying money . Minimum is now enough for one to rent a trailer in a trailer park .
Won't matter in California as $15 is normal . It's $12 but most people i know make $14.50 to $15.50 . Still not enough in California though .

Anyone whoever suggests that Congress lives on 30K/yr just wants to punish lawmakers of all parties. This is simply ridiculous.

Hell yes. Make those a*sholes, ALL of them, try living on the same wage as the rest of us.
Watch how fast they agree to raise it.
