Can a hurricane be large enough to cover the USA? What would happen?

    No, it can't.  So the "what would happen" requires that a lot of other impossible things should already have happened, and therefore the question is not reasonable.

    No. The amount of energy necessary to form and maintain such a storm simply does not exist on earth

    No.

    Hurricanes get there energy from warm ocean water. Once it reaches landfall they rapidly lose energy and just become a low pressure system.
