Why dont you accept me and my beliefs as easily as you accept the rubbish in the bible?

I dont subscribe to any organised religion, be it christianity, Islam, Hinduism or wicker.

I believe that we are responsible for our own action, we dont answer to any Gods, now or after death and that all organised religion is a lie.

But, I am not an atheist either.

I believe in a spirit life, where the earth and nature are in harmony and we can be at one with them and transcend the materialism of this world, into a better future for ourselves and those who share our beliefs.

We dont cast spells, nor do we dress up in ritualistic costumes.

We simply feel at ease in our surroundings and take delight in the magnificence of the world each day as it presents itself to us.

There are no gods.

We do not need any.

But, if i try explaining my beliefs to the doorstep Jehovas or the mormons, i often meet with abuse, I am told that I am on the road to hell and in one case, that I was a "witch"!

The Catholic church with all its ritualistic nonsense accuses people like me of being in a "cult" and of being dangerous to young and vulnerable people.

There are no textbooks to brainwash anyone who follows my lifestyle, we do not congregate in groups much larger than 4 or 5 people and we do not set out to convert others from their way of life.

But organised religion hates us!

Why?

We are not the liars!
