Its needed to produce food and I heard in the next 60 years we might run out, so my QUESTION is, if that happens do we replace soil if something else entirely? It's the ENVIRONMENT we gotta think about...

    The best weed is hydroponics so hopefully the best food will be hydroponics too!

    I watched something about 3rd world countries using the fabric inside a mattress to effectively grow things. Sounds inefficient, like soil can be easily dispersed, while with a mattress you'd need to completely destroy it to get at the goods.
