Is there anything wrong with calling a car/truck a "she?"?
I'm not sexist or anything, but I referred to my van as "she" and my parents gave their car a female name. I'm not the type to think of women as "property" either. But, I always wondered that. I was married, when I had my van and my wife already had a name for our van (being a female name.) Is there anything wrong with it, or is it how some people may take it? I've heard of a few females referring to their vehicles as "she" too. Do any of you do that? If so, will you tell me what you named yours?

Is your car or truck expensive to maintain? Does it become a bottomless sink for money to keep it looking immaculate? Does it let you down when you need it most? Did you actually choose the wrong one because you liked how it looked? If so then it is definitely a "SHE".

No one else cares at all what you name your car/truck. We call our one ton "Sarge" and our trailer "Annie" because that's just what happened. No one cares.

Oddly enough, no one in my family has EVER named a car. No one in my family thinks a vehicle has a gender. I find taking the time to name a car, determine its gender, ask about what other people do is very strange. No, I don't do that. I say, "The Vette," or the "Mustang," but I don't say "Boo-boo the car."

I don't really think there's anything wrong with it. My friend growing up had a Honda Accord that she named Lindsey.
