PDF editing other than word ?

I need to edit a pdf but I don’t have Microsoft word, anything for free, perhaps a website ?

    You don't edit pdf with word. You edit it with a pdf editor like Acrobat Reader or Foxit Pro.

    PDFs are NOT inherently editable.

    you need to realize that most of them are just PICTURES of text, and not actual text.

    but even the ones with actual text in them are usually locked so you cannot edit them. they are designed to be "print only".

    sometimes you can highlight the text and copy it, then paste it into another program, but PDFs are not designed to be editable.
