Guard, it's a lot less money but easy. I have actually been a dock officer and it's not dangerous, for a start most of them don't want to cause trouble because they know they will make it worse and those that are wildcards have to put their hands through a space in the door and the cuffs go on before they come out. A judge is a promoted barrister that is at the end of their career, it's well paid but you have to be an academic, which I'm not.

    What is a "caught house"?

judge. I know I am fair and wont prejudice the trial or the jury. I will recluse myself or give changes of venue when asked. I will dismiss trial on a Rule 20 when proper evidence presented. I Will obey Rules of Court, case law. precedent.  I will lecture jury on necessary elements  that must be presented to convict. I wil inform jury of their rights to vote conscience, whether punishment fits crime, and law being properly applied

EDIT:  guard at a Courthouse is a Bailiff. Fail.

I don't know if you're totally brilliant or totally stupid.  Just in case it's the latter the word is "court", but if it is the latter you wouldn't have read this far anyway.  Me uz big wordz.
