What do you think of the name Abisha?

I dont like it, and a name doesn't define a person's personality (thank god)

Abisha is okay for a girl.

My honest opinion- I would not use it. If YOU like it and it has a decent meaning, then use it. No matter what name you choose there will be those who don't like it. It is an unusual name so I doubt there will be another Abisha in her class.

I don't like the name and I have no idea what this girl would be like because names don't predict personalities. 

It's a shortened form of Abishua/Avishua - meaning Father is Savior/Salvation

I know that Abigail is typically more popular -- Father is joy

Personally, I like Avishai - Father is gift 

King David named one of his kids Absalom (Abshalom) which means Father of peace

I am not keen on the name.Sorry.

I don't know if this is necessarily a bad thing, but Abisha sounds like an Indian name. That's what I thought of, anyway.
