Do you think if Nadal wins the French Open for a 14th time this summer, you would have to say he is the greatest of all time?

Update:

I Hate Commerce; May I remind you, Sampras won 14 slams, Nadal has 20 and he may have one or two more left in him. He's also won majors on all surfaces, whereas Pete never even reached the finals of the French. So I don't know what you're basing that on.

Update 2:

Verulamium 1; I think you're right, because I think the main reason the big 3 are having such incredible longevity is because they're benefitting from the advances in equipment,  training methods, knowledge around nutrition and post match recovery etc. All of which did not exist to anything like that extent bac6in the 80s or 90s.

Update 3:

So you're right it is virtually impossible to decide the greatest of 'all time'.

IF and no, not of 'all time' but certainly of 'his time'.   I don't believe comparisons can be made when situations are different.   Equipment, training must be considered.
