Charged particle in Circular path. . .?

A 1.31144 μC charged particle with a kinetic energy of 0.13621 J is placed in a uniform magnetic field of magnitude 0.107491 T.

    equate the magnetic force to the centripetal force:

    qvB = mv²/r → → v = qBr / m

    plug into KE formula:

    KE = ½mv² = ½m(qBr/m)² = (qBr)² / 2m, and so

    m = (qBr)² / 2*KE

    ... = (1.31144E-6C * 0.107491T * 1.44042m)² / (2 * 0.13621 J)

    ... = 1.51E-13 kg
