It is a third rate con, if there ever was one. Based on what you said. 

I have never had, nor ever would have, dealings with this man.  Anyone who claims mega wins is trying to con you.  He isn't a good con man because no one could fall for the claims.  He is relying on someone's greed swamping their commonsense.  That SHOULDN'T happen.  But it does.
