What are the similarities between the line of latitude and longitude ?

They all intersect each other by 90 degrees. 

They are lines that are used to define a specific location on Earth.

They are both measured in Degrees, Minutes, Seconds.

Both are similar in that they are imaginary lines that circle the earths surface.

One difference is longitude lines run vertically up & down around the earth  while latitude lines run horizintally around the earth.

Another difference is Longitude lines all converge or come together at the north & south poles while latitude lines never converge or cross each other.
