How can i secretly call the cops and tell them that my neighbor rides by in his car at night with loud music?
Im trying to sleep but he wakes me up. One day i called the cops and he said "Hey Mother-F'er the cops told me that you called the cops on me!"
I was going to call the cops on him again for harrasment, but i was too scared because the cops might snitch to him again.
@TheTruthseeker: when i called the agent asked for my name. Then my neighbor told me specifically that they had given him my name and the house i live in. As you can see the cops 'told him' it was me.
@Eatsleepdrinkrepeat. He lives right in front of me and hes been living there now for 2 years
@EatDrinkSleepRepeat He was not listening to a 'cop scanner' he told me that the cop had PERSONALLY told him my name and the house i live in.

No, but either way the cops cannot do anything about it since he did not threaten you. He called you a name, insufficient for an arrest. The cops did not snitch on you, they just told him to stop bothering your neighbor. You could call the non-emergency number to the police station and ask them whether there is any recourse. At this point in time there does not seem to even be a civil recourse. You are certainly entitled to consult a lawyer and see if there is any civil action that can be taken, if the misbehavior continues.

Call on a payphone or cellphone.

If he "rides by" then he may not be your neighbor. Most people don't bump it loud in their neighborhood of where they live. He could possibly be stopping by to visit his family, friend or girlfriend. If you are sure he is your neighbor, there's nothing you and the cops can do about it.

Just ask him nicely bro. Most of us car audio enthusiasts respect society and are willing to compromise if you find the music too loud 🎶
If you pissed him off of course hes going to come at you like a bull.

The cops didn't tell him. He was listening to a scanner as the dispatcher took the report. Next time ask for anonymity. The bastard needs to talk to a 12 ga. next time he gets in your face. He likes loud noise. That should impress him.

He is making that up to intimidate you, and it's working. You can't "secretly" call. You can call anonymously, but don't expect the Police to respond.
