Why don't we have healthy fast resteraunts in America?

It's possible to eat healthy at some fast food chains--but you won't be eating what they're famous for.

At McDonald's and other burger places, you can order their salad with grilled chicken, and go easy on the dressing. Or the grilled chicken sandwich, no fries.

Pizza chains don't necessarily have a meal-sized salad on the menu. You can at least do thin crust and healthy toppings with low or no fat. Skip the pepperoni, sausage, and olives, and don't get added cheese in any form.

Probably the healthiest fast food around is Panera Bread. When I was doing Weight Watchers, I could eat there without having to balance it out by going light on some other meal.

Know the definition of FAST in fast food.  Only way to make it face is deep fry and pre-made.  Americans want fresh.. so deep fry it is..

Some questions you can see that he answered with like five or seven accounts (especially the ones about himself that he reports right away). With his Reynaldo Weeks account he boasts that he was the reason why their accounts were suspended. With his Magistra account he threatens people with clowns and CIA assassins. Shadowfire mocks Christians with his sock puppet account Fireball in the Religion and Spirituality section by answering very destructively and adding "TIRH here" or reported (anonymously) or “fck you nigers”. He gives Christians a bad name because he promotes sins like sodomy, fornication, ecumenism, astrology (horoscopes), etc. He should be executed and burned at the stake for blasphemy. I agree they are few and far between. Some fast food restaurants will advertise low fat and such but they are so high in sodium and more. Many many years ago in my town a locally owned Vegan cafe opened and it was so good, with lentil soups and so many wonderful dishes and so so healthy food and they were so ahead of the times, not many could appreciate it and they had to close. Nothing beats homemade now days.

I hear you.  About 20 years ago our KFC offered skinless, broiled chicken . . . . it was excellent - but apparently no one else bought it and it disappeared quickly.  I can remember when you got veggies when you ate at a restaurant - now it's pick a potato and the sides are rice, slaw or macaroni to go with whatever is served covered in cheese.  We go out to dine twice a week . . . it used to be our "well balanced" meals of the week - - - now it's just comfort food wherever we go.  And now - thanks to COVID - the salad tables and buffets are gone  Guess we must cook at home more.

Good question. I think it's bc healthy food takes longer to make, so it wouldn't be considered fast food. Also, restaurant owners know they'll make more sales on unhealthy food like burgers & fries (and also cheaper to make than healthy food).
