Thoughts on the boy name?
My name is Lily. I thought if one day I ever have a son, I'd name him Ren after me. Since Ren means water lily. :) Do you think it's a nice name?

No. I hate the name . I think the boy needs his own name and longer name at that

I feel like it is a good name but if you end up having a girl she would probably end up being fruity <3

Reminds me of Star Wars (Kylo Ren) but It's an eccentric name and I think It's nice and you should go for it.

I don't hate it but I'd probably never use it. I prefer Ren to the bird spelling, Wren.

I think Ren is beautiful! It's a gorgeous Japanese nature name that would blend in wonderfully in an English speaking country, so it's perfect for anyone to use. I like that it's a short and solid name, with a slide beachy vibe.
It feels masculine to me (because of Kylo Ren) and I'm sure any little kid would love to share a name with a Star Wars character. It's sweet that it has a personal meaning to you, that's something really special. I don't think it's a big deal that the meaning isn't very 'masculine', names have all kinds of meanings and most people never pay much attention to them at all, so I wouldn't worry about your son being embarassed over Ren meaning 'waterlily'.

Don't expect a dude to brag about the meaning of his name. Ren doesn't sound too bad though, but maybe he will get some Stimpy jokes.

How do you not realize how many kids in school would be asking him, "Hey Ren, where's Stimpy?"
So no, I don't think Ren is a nice name. Try again.
