What are the most diabetic causing foods ?

I think it’s pancakes and it’s sad because I love pancakes but can’t eat them a lot anymore.

Food CANNOT cause diabetes II.   Only junk can...and does.

Sugar,  HFCS, honey, nectar, juice, molasses, syrups and white flour products all cause diabetes II.

Not all of diabetes II,  but about 90%

No such thing.  It is not about any one certain food.  There is NO FOOD that directly causes diabetes.  There is no food that you can eat that will guarantee you get diabetes and there is no food that you can avoid that will guarantee you do not get diabetes.

Developing type 1 diabetes is based on an autoimmune disorder and has NOTHING to do with any mistakes made with diet and exercise.  Type 1 usually develops during childhood.

Developing type 2 diabetes is about having the right combination of RISK FACTORS that cause insulin resistance to develop into actual diabetes.  This CAN include poor diet habits.  Overeating on ANY carbohydrate CAN increase the risks that diabetes could develop.  So, it is NOT about a certain food.  It is about eating too many carbohydrates as part of your usual diet.

Other risk factors include lack of exercise or lack of activity.  (someone who does a very physical job wouldn't really need to "exercise" because they have a high activity level related to their work - someone who spends 8 to 10 hours sitting at a desk for their job should probably consider having some kind of exercise plan to help reduce their risks.)  Age and heredity are risk factors for developing type 2 diabetes.  And, of course, obesity is a risk factor also but not every fat person develops diabetes.

No food causes diabetes. Type one is genetic, type 2 is more complex that a food.

I think it’s energy drinks (non-sugar ones being the exception). Monster energy drink has 54 grams of sugar in a 16 oz size bottle.

I don’t think candies have that much sugar except maybe one of those giant lollipops.

You could try eating wheat pancakes. Not the same as regular pancakes because it’s much grittier but it’s healthier.
