Would anything significant change if we wiped out mosquitos?

Would anything really change if we wiped out mosquitos? Do they have any functional role in the world that can't be fulfilled by other insects?

We could breed moths for bat food, and introduce other water bugs, like dragonfly larvae, to be fish and tadpole food on the place if mosquito larvae.

Bats would go hungry if nothing else.

For one, stagnating water would become toxic to humans and spread a worse bacteria.

    Squitos are bad enough.
