I'm Old Enough to Remember the Philadelphia Flyers win the Stanley Cup, can you beat that?

Update:

And why is it so much fun to rip on Flyers fans?

Update 2:

I also remember sitting up late at night watching Apollo 11 broadcast from the Moon...that was so awesome.  I also watched Apollo 8's live telecast from lunar orbit.

And, although you would have no way of knowing us, it's 5 Stanley Cups for our guys...I'm a Penguins fan and we got 2 with Mario and 3 Sid....and I was one of those people at the old Mellon Arena chanting "1940" anytime the Rangers were in town.

Update 3:

Oh, and let's hope you're right and the Rangers clean up on Filthydelphia should they meet in the playoffs.

I remember watching the Apollo 11 moon landing live in 1969.  Our New York Rangers won the Stanley Cup 4 times vs your 2 times.  We should be kicking your butts again on March 27.

I’m old enough to remember Bernie Kosar winning a Super Bowl ring even though he played only 1 snap for -1 yard. The cowboys had him take a knee just so that he can experience playing in a Super Bowl game.

I'm old enough to remember when Michael Jackson died. That's probably the furthest I can date back a national event.

The what win the what? I don’t even know what that is, or when it happened.
