Guitar question?

Hi,

I'm taking a guitar course, and the teacher handed out this worksheet. I wasn't sure exactly what he meant by this, especially with the ones on the guitar. I think he means like A note and B note, etc. but I wanted to doule check?

Yes, that what it appears to be.

They want the "open" string notes across the top, presumably standard tuning, then the notes produced by fretting the strings at the positions shown.

Just remember each fret is one semitone, not necessarily one full note; think of working along a piano keyboard and including the black keys.
