Bit of blood in phlegm?

I spit out a bit of phlegm in the sink today and noticed a bit of blood. im 15 and what i believe is fairly healthy besides having diabetes, so i dont know where it came from. i have a habit of biting the inside of my mouth so im hoping thats what it was from but if there’s any other cause please lmk

    A tiny bit once is no cause for concern. Could be from anywhere:gums, mouth, nose, throat.....
