If school kids can cope with active shooter drills, then gun owners can deal with background checks, waiting periods, & red flag laws, right?

Those things are already in place - every one of them is Colorado - and they don't stop mentally ill people from getting guns. The only way they would would is if: 1) Every health care professional, friend and family member would have to report suspicious behavior to the background check data base; and 2) that the database would have to be easily accessible to everyone who wanted to sell or give away a gun. Both would involve a huge invasion of privacy.

Soon they will have mandatory active shooter drills for anyplace with an occupancy level of over 10 people. An alarm will sound and staff will direct customers and afterward announce "this was only a drill for our customer's safety"

School kids can wear a mask which covers their nose.
Yet most conservatives are incapable.
Apparently it is too much bother to ask them to stop selling guns to felons.
