You are apparently quoting from a work that used that quote from the Bible to refer to a particular person. We would need to know what that book/movie/whatever is. That's hard because no writer ever wrote "u gain" or "ur soul".

That's a quote from the Bible by Jesus. Who does it apply to? You, me, or any person.
Mark 8:36 King James Version
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Update: Read the entire chapter. You will see that it does NOT apply to one individual.
