Question about an ATV tow ball?

I bought a tow ball to fit on my Honda rincoln, but the threaded part of the ball is too thick for the hitches hole. How can I find a tow ball that is 2” but has a thinner threaded part to fit in the hole?

    Find a company that sells a lot of trailers.  Camping World is one (don't buy a trailer or RV from them, but they have a lot of accessories.)   If they don't have it, they'll know who does.

    Just measure the hole, then find a 2" ball that matches.

    No use spending $100's at a machine shop for a $15 part.
