What are your predictions for the 2021 F1 season?

Drivers Championship: Lewis Hamilton

Constructors: Red Bull

With limited off-season development allowed it's unlikely anyone will have a car to beat the current Mercedes, so Hamilton gets his record breaking 8th Drivers Championship. What Mercedes don't have is a good enough second driver (sorry, Valtteri), as long as Red Bull can maintain reliability throughout the season both Verstappen and Perez have matured enough as drivers to mount a strong team challenge. That would relegate Mercedes to second in the Constructors, with Verstappen second in the Drivers and Perez third. Bottas coming in fourth for the Drivers.

Aston Martin probably have the car to challenge for third (a green Mercedes now, rather than a pink one), but don't have the drivers. Stroll wouldn't have a drive if he wasn't the owners son, Vettel may improve being out of Ferrari but is a spent force for this season. This leaves a straight fight between McLaren & Alpine for third spot - I'm going with McLaren doing just enough to edge it.

I agree with your drivers and constructors.

I see McLaren finishing 3rd comfortably. I'm going Alfa Tauri 4th, Yuki Tsunoda will surprise a lot of people this year. I think by the end of the season, he's either level with Gasly or beating him.  Aston and Alpine scrapping over 5th and 6th. I think Ferrari will stop development and throw the season after a few races, realising the lower they finish the more they benefit next season and finish 7th. Alfa Romeo 8th, Williams 9th, Haas 10th.

    Lewis will comfortably beat bottas

    Max will just edge Checo

    Danny Ric will edge Lando

Gasly will beat Yuki over the course of the season because he will dominate early. However at the end of the season, Yuki will either be level or ahead of Gasly on Pace

Alsonso will beat Ocon but not by much

Seb will outqualify lance, lance will beat him in races

    Leclerc will just beat Sainz

Kimi beats Gio and Gio loses his seat at the end of the season

    George comfortably beats Latifi

Mazetwat beats Mick Schumacher (Mick always struggles in his first season in a new series)

After the first race, Red Bull seem to be able to compete with the Mercedes in the Bahrain track at least. I think the fight for the drivers championship will be close between max and ham, but Mercedes will still have the edge in the constructors. Also, Im second guessing Alpine this season, as they don't really have real good drivers (Alonso...meh). Mclaren look like a solid third place, while there will be a tussle between alpha tauri and ferrari for fourth, as the honda engines look real good.

    Final predictions:

Mercedes, RB, Mclaren, Ferrari, Alpha, Aston Martin, Alpine, Alfa Romeo, Williams, Haas.

Max, Lewis, Bot, Perez, Danny Ric, Leclerc, Lando, Sainz, Tsunoda, Vettel, Gasly, Stroll, Ocon, Kimi,, Alonso, Giovinazzi, Russel, Schumacher, Latifi, and last but definitely least, Mazespin.

  • untill i see some hard data from the cars, i feel it's too much of a lottery right now..by hard data i refer to when it's directly against competition, like qual

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say one of the red bull drivers
