and 22.0°C. If the pressure changes to 1.5 atm and the volume becomes 1340 mL, what is the new

temperature of the carbon dioxide gas?

    PV=nRT <<<memorize!!

    n is moles, R is gas constant (use correct one!), T is temp in K (C+273.15)

    Since you have a before and after with the same n &R simplifies to

    PV/T initial  = PV/T final

    1 atm = 760 mmHg

    Now sub in your numbers and solve, round answer to 3 sigfigs
