The initial volume and pressure of a gas is 90.5 kPa and 4.56 L. If the conditions change so the gas now has a

pressure of 780 torr, a volume of 6.54 L and a temperature of 198°C, what was the initial temperature?

    PV=nRT <<<memorize!!

    n is moles, R is gas constant (use correct one!), T is temp in K (C+273.15)

    Since you have a before and after with the same n &R simplifies to

    PV/T initial  = PV/T final

    Now sub in your numbers and solve, round answer to 3 sigfigs
