I would think it means that you get paid to go cycling.  I suppose it could also mean that you are an advocate of cycling in general.

Really? 🤔  You can't figure this out on your own?  What's the difference between Pro Basketball or Pro Football & college sports playing the same game?  Pros get PAID to do it.  Amateurs get paid nothing or very little.  The big three pro races are the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia in Italy and the Vuelta de España in Spain.

Amateur cyclist can earn money.  But it's really, REALLY low.  In St. Louis, the main event of the year lasts 4 days over the Labor Day weekend known as the Gateway Cup.  https://gatewaycup.com/  Compared to the pros, no one does this for the money - that's for sure.  In a Men's Pro/1 race the payout is only $3250 spread out among the top TWENTY riders.  https://gatewaycup.com/races/giro-della-montagna/

    Here's a look back at a 2016 race; The Giro Della Montagna - https://vimeo.com/200925351
