Can some teenagers be taller than some adults?

I’m 17 and mostly taller than some adults around me is this normal lol

    Every person has a preset genetic height determined by their hereditary make-up.

    MOST people reach their full height by about the age of 18 to 21.  People do not get taller as they age.  In fact, many people reach a certain age and start to "shrink".  By the age of 75, you might be one to two inches shorter than your tallest height at the age of 21.  

    Simple answer - you are taller than some adults because YOUR genetics made you taller then them.

    Yes, very normal, do you have tall parents. Donald Trump's 15 year old son is taller than both his parents.
