Let me put it this way: have you ever seen the SNL Bachelor spoof  in which the white bachelor talks to several women and when the black girl comes to sit down with him she just says, "ok, I'm black, so I'll just show myself out." and he nods? Well, this is not the show to be looking for diversity in. This is made for a gullible white single female audience to make dumb women belive that a mediocre guy and a reality TV slut can somehow equall love. It never works, this show has been on for 20 years and only ONE couple ended up together, by some friggin miracle. My advice is to stop watching it and invest that time into something more worthwhile. Black people don't bother with this show.

From what I understand the "winner" of last season, a white girl, attended an "antebellum" party connected with her sorority. This was in the time period before the Civil war when plantations had slaves. Her black fiance found this very offensive and they broke up, and people connected with "The Bachelor" made a big to do about the whole thing. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see the big deal about it. It's not like they had people dressed up or acting like slaves at the party, it was just a theme party with girls dressed up in hoop skirts and whatnot.
