I'd rather go to Africa than the States these days. US is so violent. I've been to South Africa three or four times.

I haven't been to Africa. Many African countries wouldn't exactly be my first choice of a holiday destination, but I'd rather visit Africa than China or North Korea

Yes, I've been to Morocco and Tunisia.
Not exactly deep dark, Africa, but certainly part of that continent.

Africa isn't a country, rather a continent. I haven't been there yet but hope to someday
& have connections in Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, mostly friends from college.
But since you won't be going there anyway, perhaps you should look at a world map?
