Is it normal to have two different drinks in a meal?

When I've seen people have breakfest, sometimes with their food, they have two drinks - a glass of orange juice and coffee. And also at restaurants, I've seen people have two different drinks with their meal - for example, a glass of beer and a cup of cuppuccino - all in one meal.

I thought it was normal to only have one drink per meal. I don't know if having two different drinks in a meal is normal for the body's digestion. Unless there is something I wasn't aware of?

Many years ago - it was very common during sit down dining for the waitress to bring a glass of water to the table for each person before they even ordered anything.  So, water and whatever drink a customer ordered was "standard".

As for breakfast - some people want coffee in the morning - but don't always "like" the taste of coffee WITH the food they are eating.  Ordering orange juice (or some other drink) with a coffee is fairly common.  If you watch them - most of these people will sip their coffee before the meal arrives and after the meal is done - but while eating - they are most likely drinking the other drink they have ordered.  (this isn't true of everyone - but it would be true for most of the people I know.)

It doesn't "help" or "hurt" the body's digestive process to have a variety of drinks with a meal.  It is completely a personal choice.

    Yes

Examples: Many have OJ and coffee with breakfast

I and many others have water or other beverage with main course and coffee with desert
