For me NO. The 90s in our home one crisis after another. But musically? The greatest decade ever! The birth of "indie" and the college radio stations

I have a lot of good memories. From the early '90's, being a kid, playing Nintendo, getting dirty playing in ditches, in gutters, on my grandpa's farm, riding bikes up into the hills. It was dangerous, but nobody cared. We did it anyway. We got tough, we got beat up, we learned things, we got yelled at by crazy farmers, we played with snakes, people didn't get offended by everything or try to shield us. I watched Wayne's World and City Slickers when I was 11. Watched the Simpsons and Beavis and Butthead. Stole a VHS (yes, VHS) copy of Pretty Woman once and saw boobs. Oh well. We learned right from wrong. I remember later in the decade, staying up late and watching music videos on VH1 and MTV and going to party with friends. The internet age is great, but it seems that things have just lost their authenticity and things don't mean as much now. It's everything all the time, so there is nothing special about it.

Kids these days. ...The 90s wasn’t that awesome.
Everything was less convenient than it is now. You had to rent videos on weekends, very little cell phone usage, slow internet.. not the same kind of information at your fingertips now.
Plus, it’s not like people dressed that cool either, not like they did in the 60s/50s (and before that). 😏
