Is it possible to get internet easily in Germany using a dongle?

Hello,

I will be in Germany for 3 months and I don't expect to be staying at a place with WiFi. I need internet and I am wondering if a dongle is a good option for me? What are the risks involved? (eg is there a high chance that I won't be able to get it to work when I get there).

(I won't have a phone so I can't do tethering, and I don't want to do any long term internet plans through DSL).

Any thoughts?

Thank you!

"Dongle" is a generic term for any small device that plugs directly into a port without cords. I assume you are referring to a cellular modem. Generally speaking, they should work in any country, but you will need to make sure you have a plan that allows roaming (e.g. Verizon TravelPass). I don't know why you wouldn't just take your phone with you, though.
