Is it ok to wash 40 degrees clothes on 30 degrees?
Hello there
i have many white shirts and clothes that on their washing instructions says to wash on 40 degrees and some that require 30 degrees
but i dont have enough of each to fill a full washing machine
is it ok to fill both 40 degrees and 30 degrees clothes in a 20 degrees washing machine? [my washing machine has 20 diferences between heat options ,for example 20 40 60 degrees etc]
im asking this because ive realised that putting white shirts without squizing the water option [lets say instead of 1000 circles , if i put 800 circles or 400 options] out of the clothes . it makes them large like a table cloth
anyway wanted to know if it is ok about the degrees thingy to mix the clothes in the same washing machine

Ok is the American version of this cold, warm, hot water. And low, medium, high spin cycle?
It is best to err with cooler water. There is no reason to do more loads of laundry.
If you have a lot of white tops I would wash them together.
A high spin cycle can stretch out cotton knits and sweaters.

Yes, it's always okay to launder something in water cooler than its instructions say.
It can be disastrous to go the other direction, though.
Be aware that if any of the non-white clothes are new enough that they bleed color, the white shirts will pick up that color.
