I found out that my ancestors immigrated to the U.S. around 1620-1635?

They were apart of the mass puritan migration. Was that the Indian pillagers?

    Mine came here around the mid 1800's.

    No.  The Puritans had it rough and most of them died quickly upon arrival in the New World.  Indians did not not know how to cope with these new people, but somehow managed to put up with them.
