Have you noticed smart people dont always do the smart thing ?

I could be totally wrong and just a scummy Muppet granted

But consider this. Someone working the honest way for 20 years in a good job gets a hosue. 

VS 

"moron" that does fraud with a low risk and gets the house in 10 years 

If the fraud was high risk then he is indeed a morn, but its likely not at all high risk, and hes most likely going to get away with it and save 10 years of his life

But hes still less intelligent and drawn to these things but hes STILL doing teh smarter more logical thing 

So hes less intelligent but doing the smarter more logical thing

Its like smarter people are under more control  by the system and unable to deviate 

Liek they get held back by th what ifs instead of seeing the risk vs reward
