Are women tougher than men?

because we have to deal with men in relationships, men are harsher, meaner, more aggressive and violent.  we have to deal with pain during sex and men being rough towards us. we have to bring up children go through childbirth, periods.

The genders are "tough" in different ways.

No. Can’t imagine a woman fighting on Iwo Jima, jungles of Nam, hauling 85lb rucks, minimal food and water for weeks on end. Or even beating an opponent in hand to hand death match etc. That’s for the average male soldier.

There are female soldiers like that but they’re the outlier.

Personally I don't see why women have to put up with men hurting us at any time, whether that be on a daily basis, during sex etc.  Just because some men are aggressive and violent, doesn't equate that every single man is aggressive or violent.

I wouldn't tolerate anyone, male or female, purposefully physically hurting me.  If they did, I'd either report them to the Police or hit them back.

It's true that as soon as periods start a girl has to get used to the cramp pains, migraines etc, but most girls just get used to it over time.  Childbirth is also tolerable and most women forget the pain, once they meet their new family member and go on to have more babies!  Maybe girls and women are just hardwired to tolerate pain.

Yes i do .....because as a man i don't have to be harsher aggressive or violent if it is love that you are making .

The present times are insane in the sense that we have lost all sense of propriety and sensitivity to the tother gender  ....the best part is that mother nature always heals itself  ....cheers!!

    case in point :

MISOA......in the times to come only the natural team players regardless of gender shall be tougher than the toughest ...cheers!!

So you want to engage in stereotypes?

Ask the guy who has been falsely accused of rape by a woman who wanted attention from him and he didn't want to give it.

Ask the woman who claims to have it worse than her husband who died in combat because she's been left behind.

Ask the guy who gets to clean out your septic system.

Ask the 5 times more men that are murdered than women ...

Oh wait, I guess you can't.

You want stereotypes?  We've got stereotypes.

We have to put up with women, so yeah. The worst part is that we're driven to put up with women and even protect women. We even still feel these things after getting sh*it for giving women advice on how to not get raped.

And the pain tolerance studies are bullsh*it. We can't even measure pain, but women are still like "we have a higher pain tolerance". They even make inane comments about how their pain tolerance is higher than what humans are capable of during childbirth as if that make any sense whatsoever. All the while women take drugs to deal with the pain during childbirth because their pain tolerance is so great. Yeah, whatever.

Actually, as it turns out, they are. They've done pretty extensive research on this subject, and women have evolved to have more pain tolerance and a higher stress threshold than men. There are sound, evolutionary reasons for it too but that's probably not that interesting to you. But yes, your observation is correct even if you're not completely accurate about the reasons why.
