Can I do a testosterone injection early?

I do IM injections every other week for over a year now, and I messed up my last injection causing most of the Testosterone to leak out. It's two days until my next shot day but I feel like my body is already noticing the difference. Would it be safe to just go ahead and do the injection now since I basically didn't even get my injection last time or should I just wait it out for two more days?

It's best to call your Urologist or managing provider's office to answer questions like these. Different clinics have different expectations about compliance with controlled substances like IM Testosterone and dosing schedules. If you do inject now, you should tell your managing provider so he or she can adjust your lab work if needed. This is because timing of IM injections can affect lab work interpretation. If you're not getting routine lab work then you should start, as replacing testosterone can be dangerous (as in life threatening) if your blood counts are too high. Lab work also ensures the proper dosing of Testosterone is being utilized.
