Do you donate to any charities?

From time to time. I really resent some of the charity campaigns where fund raising companies take a big slice.

Yes, I do, and have in the past.

I have sponsored several children thru several  "Save the Children" type programs,  both here,  (in Italy)  and the states,.....and I also donate to the local pet shelter here,  where I got this cutie from.

No, I gave toys away once to very poor kids in an underprivileged Hispanic community myself and dressed up as Santa a couple of years ago I made a lot of money that year, it felt really good I nearly shed a tear seeing how happy they got but I don’t have money to do it anymore.

Only the ones who don't spend their money on tearjerker television commercials:  they show poor taste, prey on the vulnerable, make an emotional rather than intellectual appeal, waste money that would be better-spent on the causes they claim to support and are generally insulting, unethical and immoral.  (btw:  did you know that little Alec in the Children's Hospital pitches is now 18 years old . . . and his father is on the hospital's Board?  It may be a good cause, but such sob-stories and inside relationships should be illegal.)
