Why in the world are you waiting for something that you will get eventually anyways. You are simply wasting time and exposing yourself to a virus that has known effects most of which are bad. 

Are you not familiar with vaccine practices of the past? Those not vaccinated will have privileges denied and restrained. It's your right not to get vaccinated but it's also a right that you will be isolated with as other private companies and events will require vaccination. You will be forced to wear a mask forever. 

You will have to go down south to Trump country and god help you then. 

Everything in life has a risk.  People die from falling in the shower, but you still take a shower.  People die in car accidents, but you still drive.

So, do you want to take the vaccine, and risk dying, or do you want to NOT take the vaccine, and risk dying of covid.  Either way is a risk.

Don’t hesitate -  vaccinate.

More than 4000 people in the USA have died of covid more than 3 weeks after being fully vaccinated.

Pfizer has told us that immunity is only about 6 months.  The news wants to spin this as "but they have only been tested for 6 months" which is not true.  Phase II human trials started in late April 2020 (just shy of 11 months ago) and Phase III human trials provided the 2nd vaccination in mid-August, 2020 which is 7+ months ago.

You are allowed to use your voice and say:

- my healthcare is my own business 

- as soon as we know more about immunity 

- when the government removes the immunity from lawsuits from big pharma vaccine companies I'll consider getting it then.

- or whatever you want to say.  

Knowing around 25 people who have contracted the disease (and knowing 3 that died) I figured it was worthwhile to get the vaccine. We have family members in other states still suffering affects over 9 months after contracting it. If the shot doesn't work, it doesn't work. With all the millions of doses that have been administered, though,  the risk of severe infection or side affects is a lot less with the shots than without. The shots don't contain a live or dead virus so they don't work like the flu shots. Also, the effective rates of the flu shots are much lower than these Covid shots. I treat getting the shots in the same category as wearing masks and distancing. It's a social responsibility we should live up to to help create the "herd immunity" we need to stop the spread of this disease.

The UK has carried out 55 million jabs; the benefits are becoming apparent.  Deaths and hospitalisations are significantly down.
