Photoelectric Effect Question?

If someone is using blue light (450.0 nm). Will the setup emit electrons? If so, what is their maximum kinetic energy? Please help I am very confused.

    You were given a specific material with a specific work function Φ. If the work function is less than the photons' energy (equal to h*c/λ), then electrons will be emitted and their maximum KE will be equal to the difference (hc/λ - Φ).
