In which Hardy Boys book does their friend Chet act as judge for a pie eating contest? NO I am not talking about "Hardy Boys Clue Book".?
Apologies for phrasing this poorly. It is not a "Pie-eating contest". Chet substitutes for an absent judge for a pie BAKING contest. He eats a bunch of pies and has to award a winner. That should clear this up.

Most fans wouldn't consider the Hardy Boys Clue Books to be canon, but Chet enters a pumpkin pie eating contest in #10 "The Great Pumpkin Smash", which might be what you're looking for.

I've read every Hardy Boys book and I don't recall such a thing ever happening in any of them.
