Yahoo as of this coming Monday will no longer be trading their stock publicly. Verizon Amazon AOL Alibaba are all together in business as Verizon digital media.
The company that was called oath well they've pretty much abandoned it.
You're probably going to see the name Yahoo vanish completely.
The name Yahoo means rude noisy and violent!
This is not the image that the new company wishes to portray.
It is possible that when the Yahoo name is properly disposed of the new company will have its own question and answers completely different than what you see today but that's all just speculation

No, once Yahoo Answers is gone there will be no purpose for Yahoo. Similar to how AllExperts is no longer used or AOL.

They'll lose traffic and advertisers will notice that which means Yahoo's $$$ will be effected eventually.
