Stimulus check question? ?

I’m a disabled college student who lives at home. I get ssi. Back in early March, my parent got a check for me included in their payment. I got a stimulus check today. According to what I read the rules change that SSI and SSDI received their own stimulus check regardless if they were claimed as a dependent or not. Then the check my parent got in early March was because they claimed a college student as a dependent on their taxes. Is this a mistake do I need to return it?
