I cant cook. Why does my meat taste like spit? Did I use too much salt?

I call that sweat meat. The worst case scenario is you use meat that was already bad when you froze it 4 years ago. Now you huck it into a pan on super high heat and get some mix of burnt to a crisp and still frozen. It smells like the fat folds of a drunk dad. Thank goodness, I don't know what it tastes like. 

In short, yes, if you can't cook, you're likely not going to make good food. Also yes, I really do belive some people just can't learn either.
